
Julia Patkos is an accomplished costume designer with a strong background in fashion design, developed through her studies at Parsons School of Design in Paris and New York. She began her career working with renowned fashion houses such as Vivienne Westwood in London and Torrente Haute Couture in Paris.
Her debut feature, Taxidermia —Hungary’s Oscar entry for that year—earned her the Best Costume Design Award from the Hungarian Film Academy. Julia’s talents have also been recognized by the Canadian Alliance for Film and Television with nominations for her work on the feature Stardust and the TV movie The Clark Sisters: The First Ladies of Gospel.
Recent projects include the feature Until Dawn for Sony and Season 2 of Ginny & Georgia for Netflix. Julia brings expertise across a range of genres, from period dramas to contemporary stories, and works seamlessly throughout North America and Europe.
